Prospect Hill Residence
A renovation turned an existing garage and artist’s studio into a modern-day carriage house. The first-floor studio became new living quarters while the second-floor office was converted into a bedroom and bathroom.
Materials on the exterior of the carriage house reflect those used on the main house and a new garden path strengthens the connection between the two buildings. A large expanse of glass was added to the east elevation to capture picturesque views of the fields and distant mountains.
