Berkshire South Regional Community Center - Great Barrington, MA
A new 40,000 SF pre-engineered steel building provides a competitive swimming pool, gym, fitness center, locker rooms, an auditorium and meeting rooms for 17 communities throughout Berkshire and Columbia County.
The economies gained from the use of pre-engineered building systems enabled the construction of this privately funded community center. The coherent use of simple forms and basic materials provided a cost-effective solution and resulted in a building reflective of community character.
